Blurring the Boundaries Between Fine Art, Beauty
Steve Kraitt was born & raised in London, England and began taking photographs in 2006 whilst engaged in a successful career as a graphic designer and creative director.
Steve uses highly developed techniques to create images that are thematically focused on beauty and aesthetics. His studies of the female face and form often truncate the subject to reveal only the eyes, mouth or other part of the body, His conceptual approach and carefully crafted visual metaphors prompt the viewer to question not only female representation, but also the relationship between the media and the consumer, and the thin line between art and advertising.
Steve’s refined aesthetic has attracted the attention of major commercial clients and collectors alike. Now, for the first time, a selection of his catalogue is being made available in the form of museum quality prints, in strictly limited editions, individually hand signed by the artist himself.
